Getting to the camps in the Okavango Delta and the lodges and camps is by charter flight. There are several airstrips usually situated a few minutes from the camps, either by vehicle or by boat. Flights into these airstrips can be from Kasane (Chobe) or Maun Airport, or linked between various areas of Botswana. The lodges and camps usually collect guests from the airstrip at no additional cost. Flights into Maun are via Johannesburg and Cape Town, or locally from Gaborone and Kasane. Flights from Maun Airport to the various lodges and camps in the Okavango Delta are usually 30 to 45 minutes in duration.
African Safari Group will take care of your charter flight bookings between lodges and airports as part of your tour package. There are no scheduled flights to the Okavango Delta.
